Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The University of Ottawa is an urban campus and as such, parking availability is very limited. While some visitor parking may be available, it is not guaranteed. uOttawa does not have the capacity to block off parking lots for hundreds of visitors in the event of a career fair. We urge you to consider other options, such as taking a taxi. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

The University of Ottawa is a bilingual school. Students attending our career fairs may be unilingual (French, English) or bilingual. To facilitate exchanges between employers and students, during the set-up, we will ask your representatives the language they speak (English, French, Bilingual) and put a sign on your booth, so students know their spoken language(s).

Kindly note that our career fairs are for uOttawa students and alumni only and are not open to the public. Non-students will be turned away that the door. You may promote your attendance, if it is made clear that you are looking to connect with uOttawa students. We appreciate your cooperation, as this has become a recurring issue at our events.

Due to recent internal changes with our campus mail room and a lack of available resources for this service, it is not possible to ship your material ahead of time. It is your responsibility to bring your materials to and from the event location.
